I know what you mean, Patricia....I was both amazed and pleased, 'cos I had 500gms of the variegated, some I used last year, then this year with 200-300 gms still left and that is the best it has worked up, thus far
Amy, You've been a great host as you inspired us and guided us through another month. KASfolk around the world have been through fires, floods, droughts, and heat waves, and still kept working to warm and comfort the children. What an amazing group!
Here I've used remnants of sock wool and some white 3 ply yarn to make these 12 diagonal squares. They're brightly coloured and the majority of the sock wool has a high wool content so they'll be nice and warm too.

These are gorgeous, Karen. I've often noticed that sock yarn comes in really great colourways.

These really are eye catching and they look soft and warm. You really do use up every little bit a yarn and do it beautifully.
So FABULOUSLY pretty, Karen!! I think if someone gave you horse hair, you could make it look pretty.
