NOVEMBER 2024 THEME - EDUCATION
Welcome Crafters !! I'm here to invite, encourage and inspire you to get creative with your makes this month - all around the chosen theme to help EDUCATE "our children" xx
Some ideas to tempt your imaginations along these lines are:
LETTERS, NUMBERS, SEASONS, ANIMALS & NATURE
We would all love to see photographs of your creations if possible, these can be of 8" squares, hats, hand-holdable toys and complete blankets. Your crafting may just spark more creativity in others looking in.
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your wool workings! Karen xx

Incredible colourways through this Patricia xx. Thank you so much ⭐. Yes indeed, I noted the background flora + fauna - we have icey white patches + absolutely no greenery now!
SO pretty! And beautifully made! Love the colours. C2C, one of my faves!
The very first time I tried C2C was because I so admired a blanket of yours, Anneke. That feels like such a long time ago!
Oh dear, that is an honour, thank you! Indeed it feels like a long time ago. Now I remember, I believe I gave you the pattern made by Mary Ann Fellows? Your C2C blankets and squares are exquisite, I was just browsing through your photopage, you made a LOT of C2C blankets! The first one was made in variegated pink? xo
Correct on both counts. I try to mix my blanket styles up a bit but C2C remains my favourite.
Dear friends, Thank you all SO much for your warmhearted compliments. I missed you too, although I was not logged in at the forum, I saw all your beautiful work passing by. Like you all, I have been given creativity which is a privilege and I love to use it to warm the vulnerable children by giving them a brightly coloured blanket. I am inspired by you all too, when I started at KAS I did not know that there are so many crochet patterns, I learned a lot!
I did not design this blanket myself, I was inspired by Jellina Creations, here is the link: https://www.jellina-creations.nl
She is a Dutch crochet artist and makes the most beautiful blankets and other items. Instead of black as the maincolour, I used light gray for the squares. Here is Jellina's blanket:
What a zingy blanket Anneke. It will be treasured.
Wow Anneke another masterpiece. I love the way you randomly placed your squares....such talent!
Thank you so much Estelle! I just checked, the blanket + 35 single coloured squares arrived in SA. It is now on its way to Bryanston. Happy dance!
Yours is way bonnier!!
