I felt inspired by this poem
that I discoverd.......sadly, I can't seem to locate who penned it.
Pink’s Lullaby
“Pink’s Lullaby” is a calming ode to the nurturing aspect of pink, often associated with comfort and care. It paints an image of a serene evening, where the color brings warmth to the world.
When evening comes in pastel tones,
And sunlight for the moon atones,
The sky wraps us in arms of pink,
As stars above begin to wink.
Like softest sheets on childhood bed,
Or gentle touch on sleepy head.
Pink’s lullaby, a soothing hum,
As day to night does finally succumb.
So rest your eyes, let dreams unfurl,
As pink engulfs the waking world.
To every heart, its warmth apply,
In the soft strains of pink’s lullaby.

This time round I picked one striped wool and one dotty wool. I hope you can see the effect clearly. I realised the dotty was going to be very tight in amount so had to accommodate the shortage mid creation by adding a pink striped across the middle.

Crunch Stitch. This isn't a stitch I've used very often but I remembered it was a favourite of Marion's so I thought I'd give it another try. It makes a lovely (crunchy!) texture.
