Welcome to September 2025
It is the first day of Spring for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere and my favourite season.
The CoM (colour of the month) is........
A lovely,soft shade that can be nice on its own, or mixed with just about any colour you can think of.
As usual my thoughts turn to food.....haha.
Cookies and cream (icecream)
Peaches and cream yoghurt (yum)
Strawberries and cream (one of my favourite lollies/sweeties)
Scones with raspberry jam and cream
Chocolate layered cake with cream filling.
Pavlova with kiwifruit, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries....any berries.....and cream.
I think I've covered just about every colour . 
Cream is so versatile.
So.....if you have some cream in your stash, perhaps you might like to create some pjs or striped/patterned squares containing cream.
My apologies if I've made you hungry....I'm starving!!

I'm guessing this is Stylecraft Special DK, Diane? When I suggested cream as my CoM last year this was the shade I had in mind, but all the creams I found were nearer to white. I wish I'd found it then.
Yes Patricia, Stylecraft DK. When my local wool shop was closing I bought 3 balls. I used 1 ball for the CoM last December, used 1 ball for these squares and have a partial ball left after using some in the blanket I have just finished. It is a very pretty colour but the photo doesn't do it justice. Wish I had bought more at the time!!
I always use Wool Warehouse for Stylecraft yarns, and I also like their own brand - Yarnsmiths.
I have looked at the Wool Warehouse website a few times and will be ordering in the future. When my local wool shop was closing down last January, I bought enough to keep me going for about a year!
I have 'liked' a page on Facebook called Cornwall Crochet, she often uses Stylecraft and Yarnsmiths.
Yes, I've seen her work on Instagram. I first came across Stylecraft many years ago through Lucy at Attic 24 - my all time crochet guru!
Vos carrés sont magnifiques Diane et quelle jolie et douce couleur. Je rêve de gâteaux à la crème au beurre (excellent pour mon foie). Il faut dire que Bev a sû nous donner une envie frénétique de tricoter et crocheter avec ses recettes alléchantes !!!
