      Hi Alicia,

Thanks for the compliment on my crochet squares.  I do like making squares and garments to help keep the children warm.  And if I can make something that will also put a smile on a child's face that is a plus.

Looking forward to more lovely squares from you :-)

      Linda x

      Dear Alicia,

Ronda has expressed the need for a newer vehicle to transport squares and blankets. Helen Flagg has proposed to the US Group that we raise funds to help KAS purchase a car. The idea has gone global and there is an initiative on the forum about it. Check the latest ezine video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VK9mbUrGWI&feature=youtu.be

Also, The Humble Stitch Project has offered to ship all squares received in Florida by Dec 15th to South Africa for us for free.  Check out their offer and the address on the Forum in the US Group.

      Hope to see you there!

No, no,no - it wasn't me! I didn't post details under every pic but the garden was a group effort by a community group.  I am not nearly so clever!  I do like knitting though and just posted the garden pics as they were so amazing.  The course you did sounds brilliant.  x

Yes Alicia, those of us who work full-time find that weekends are just not long enough to do all our various chores and tasks.  I must admit that sometimes the thought of all the parcel wrapping and queuing at the Post Office does rather mean I tend to procrastinate - which is rather naughty, as I know the children are depending on us..............I'm retiring at the end of October, so I am creating a Personal Action plan to ensure that I use my time constructively - including getting the parcels in the post pdq!  Thanks for all you are doing, don't envy the cardigan disaster you have been landed with.  Take care and speak soon.  Pam

Just wondering what you are up to.... I am preparing to knit myself silly and reach 100 squares by the end of August. Hope you are doing well, and hope to see some more of your lovely work soon!

Hello Alicia and welcome to our KAS community.

Thank you for joining the KAS community and for your contributions to the orphaned and vulnerable children, we are seeking to help.
