"The brown variegated yarn was some gifted to me by my sister. Usually, I can get at least three pair of handwarmers from 100gms, but what do you know, I got to the last inch on each of the third set of handwarmers, with an inch to spare and no yarn. Although I have a ball 'somewhere' of what is the same combo of colours (only acrylic, not wool like these) I couldn't find it easily and I thought with my luck the colours would be ever-so-slightly- brighter or duller,so went for a complete contrast. :))

I have sent two parcels this year with DK (8 ply) yarn. I always try to make up parcels that are either all DK or all Aran. I have oodles of crates of 8 ply yarn that I will need to use up, though also using up my Aran weight as well."
