Hi Alex! A very warm welcome to you from the East Coast of Canada!
My name is Gloria and I’m one of several Moderators on our Square Circle Forum. My job is to put together our monthly newsletter - KAS SNIPPETS. Each month I pull together photos and information from the forum and our members, along with requests from our team in South Africa - sort of a KAS-at-a-glance, so to speak. You should receive notification near the end of each a month with a link to the current edition. I hope you will enjoy catching up on all the KAS news!
I agree with you that one of the many great things about Knit-a-Square is the photos our volunteers in South Africa take and share with us - photos of our squares on the sorting tables - photos of our squares in blankets - and best of all, photos of our squares in blankets wrapped around the beautiful children! I'm so glad to know you're enjoying being able to see our work in action! It may take a while as post can be slow, but if you're patient and keep watch, you will eventually see your own work on the tables of our volunteers or stitched into a blanket for a child. That, I can tell you, is a thrill :)
You can move around the forum by clicking on the various headings (Helpful Hints, KasPodcast, Discussion Categories, KAS Shop, Shipping Instructions and so on) at the top of this page.
You will be welcomed into any of our discussions so come on in and put your feet up, grab your yarn and hook/needles and enjoy. You are among friends.
