      Hi Amy!
      Oh you look much younger:-)
So you are about my age then:-)
Interesting that you also work with children..
The children in my group are between three and six years.
We also have one group with children at the age of two years..
It`s a nice job but can be quite hard at times:-(
I live in Senden, that`s near Münster(twin city to York).
I also work in Senden,so I can go by bike to work.
In August I moved back to Senden ,together with my boyfriend after living alone in Münster for three years.
It was a good time living alone, but it`s also nice to live together with someone.
I`ve never been to Kent, but heard about it.
Biu I have been to London before and very often to Leeds,as my Grandparents live there.
      Leeds is a lovely town!
      Have you ever been?
In November I`m flying to my Grandparents, with my Mum for a few days!
      I can`t wait!
      I really love England!
Have you ever been to Germany?
      Do you live alone?
Well I`ve also been looking at a few you tube crochet videos, but somehow I haven`t maneged to fix it out yet.
      But I want to try!
Do you buy the wool for the squares or do you have any left overs from people?
My Mum has got loads of sacks of left over wool from a friend of hers.
So I don`t have to buy any:-)
But I do buy wool for things like cushion covers or scarfs.
My Mum knits lovely baby jackets!
Well I guess I`ve written enough now:-)
      I go to arobic soon!

      So talk to you soon!

      Hi Amy!
      Nice to hear from you!
My Mum also knits and has been wanting to knit for poor children for years.
So I searched the internet and discovered KAS!
      I really think it`s a good projekt!
I only knit,I would love to do crochet but find it too complicated.
How did get to know about KAS?
      What do you knit?
I knit mainly scarfs and at the moment I`m doing cushion covers for my living room.
I enjoy knitting but I`m not that good at it..
      I also like embroidery.
Soon I will start on a Christmas table cloth..
I`ve not sent anything of for KAS yet,as I don`t have much time.
But I want to start next year!
      Have you sent anything of?
What do you work,or do you still study?
      I work in a Kindergarden.
      How old are you?

Well nice to hear from you!

      Rachel

Welcome to the forum Amy and well done on making a lovely square. I have been months learning to crochet and I can just about make a granny now but I still prefer to knit. You'd be very welcome to join the UK group if you wish - several of us are struggling with crochet at present. One of the nice things about KAS is that everyone's contribution - whether absolute beginner or skilled craftsperson - is valued and put to good use.
