Welcome to KAS, Breahna from up north...in Canada above MN. I hope your weather has settled down. It nearly gave me gray hairs watching the tornadoes and aftermath. Were you in an affected area? I hope all your loved ones were safe. I crochet so I guess I'm a "happy hooker". My Mum taught me to knit but I'm a snail at it. She could watch tv, knit an intricate lace pattern and carry on a conversation at the same time and never miss a stitch. Mind you she learnt way back in WW2, so she had lots of practice. I find my cats attack waving knitting needles but not my crochet hook. They have been known to attack the unwinding yarn though, often diving right into the yarn bag. I'm not sure cat hair qualifies as extra insulation in the hats, sweater vests and squares!
I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win. Oh also click on Groups above and join the US group, they're such a lively bunch, always up to something! Good to meet you. :)
