How lovely, it is always a thrill to spot someone clutching a knitted animal - my squares are so plain that there is no hope, but I once spotted a parcel of mine on a photo which was published after a postal strike in SA. Ronda's living room was deluged with the backlog!

Welcome Catharine! I'm from the USA near Philadelphia. We visited Germany a few years ago as my husband was performing in a Jewish Music Festival there. We were in Erfurt, Berlin, Frankfurt near Berlin and Munich. We had a lovely visit! KAS is a wonderful charity group and the squares are indeed a manageable project and very portable, too. I bring my knitting wherever I go and know I will need to wait. Keeps my fingers busy! So glad you joined us...
