Welcome to KAS, Cayden. Sorry I'm tardy on this, wasn't well for a bit. I'm across the Pond in Canada. Great to hear about your group and I hope they find Knit-A-Square enjoyable and inspiring. I do, I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :) Welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
Hi Cayden and welcome to KAS. Is Keele craft society part of the University? I have tried to knit squares but my tension is rubbish, so I knit jumpers with matching hats. Once you have mastered the site I'm sure you will find everyone very friendly and helpful.
Hi Cayden, welcome to the forum. We do have a few other men on the site, one of whom runs a knitting group in his area. It's lovely to have you with us and I hope you enjoy being a part of this community and become as committed (not to say addicted) as many of us are. When you've had a chance to look around we'd be glad to have you join the UK group for more local news, chat and information - in fact you could open your own group and keep your own tally.
Cayden, so glad you joined us! I am a knitter from just outside of Philadelphia in the USA. My township is called Cheltenham and we are a "sister city" with Cheltenham, UK. Lots of connections to merry old England in this part of the country.
