Hi Christine, don't worry! The first time I tried I managed to make my system freeze and crash - I'd chosen a pic rose that was too big!
First step is to create a new folder and named it - Photo Folder - on your own computer. I saved a photo into the folder as a rose.jpg or if your machine is a Mac, rose.jpeg and close the file.
Go to the My Page tab on the forum menu bar. Then click on Settings in the small box on the right - I think you may have got this far before.
The photo is the top item on this page, so click on Choose button, then open your Photo Folder, then click on the photo you would like to use.
Take a deep breath, mutter a little prayer and hopefully the photo should install itself onto your personal page.
If you still have problems, do not hesitate to come back and I’ll enlist the help of one of the experienced photo contributors.
I’ve only recently purchased a digital camera and am still a bit of an amateur - not very good at reading written instructions it is much better when shows me how. However, through the struggle of DIY computer work have eventually managed to get various things to function.
