It is now 6.30pm (Saturday, 8th Dec.) here in Western Australia...it is always difficult to try and fathom the time differences...hee hee hee....but I imagine by now it really is your birthday...I hope you enjoy your dinner and cake with the family. Bev. :))
So nice to hear from you ! I understand about technology.....great if I know how to use it :-) Having said that, the forum is a wonderful place to speak with people from all corners of the world. I have made many friends on this site.
My aunt taught me to knit and crochet when I was a young girl. I prefer to crochet. I have also enlarged squares using the "crochet around" method. One of the many things I like about crochet.
It's nice that there are a few KASers in your area. Maybe you can get together for a knit and knatter.
I have been making squares for KAS for over 2 years and just love it. It is a great way to use up my stash and do something worthwhile for the children. Hope you enjoy it as much.
We run a challenge each month. This month it is ‘Make it in May' and we would love you to participate, especially knowing that whatever you make will soon benefit one of our children.
Don't forget to post photographs of your work, either in the challenge month, or in your personal blogs as well as in the photos section of the forum. We have an awesome gallery of the work the KAS community is doing in photos, which is really inspiring.

Talk soon.
Hi Christine,
When I looked to see where you were from, I was pleased to see another Canadian! And so "close", by Canadian standards :-) I'm in Sault Ste. Marie.
Do you knit or crochet?
Talk to you later.
Linda
