Just thought if you meant the list of items received in S.A...go to Main Page. See the Knit A Square box where it shows the postal address..click on "please click here."
Scroll down this page -Knit A Square- until nearly at the bottom and you will find the title -squares.
Click on 'Squares' and you will find all the tally lists. Click on the month you want. It includes vests, hats etc.
Remember..if you don't find your name it is probably still getting there or it could be listed as ANON (Anonymous). Hope this helps. :)
Did you mean the list to add your items to as you send them? If so it is in the forum under 'featured discussions' and called 2012 Combined Tally- Knit-a-Squillion Squares and Item Count. :)
Hi Denise, 35 squares (5 X 7) make a nice warm blanket. Any colour, any pattern is appreciated. Plain janes are the backbone of KAS but some of us like to try new patterns and making squares is the perfect way to see if we like the pattern.
We haven't had an update on the squares list for a little while. Ronda and everyone in South Africa is so busy sorting the hundreds of squares that updating the list is not top priority. We have to have faith that the parcels do arrive......and they do ! I check the photos to see my squares. I saw one of mine in the last group of photos that were on Facebook. It is always a thrill !
Welcome to KAS, Denise from way over in Canada. I'm late saying hi due to being on holidays and then had a chill...booo! Anyways back to crocheting now and I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above and if you click on Photos above, you will see items that are heading to Africa, in all colors and shapes, plus those that have arrived there. If you click on Groups, above, you can join the Aussie group or any groups you wish, to chat with. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
That was the link to the group, oh and sorry for bombarding your page with comments, but I was going to say and forgot, its a good idea to set yourself a goal, mine is 10 squares a month. Depending on how fast your knitting is or how much spare time you've got, you could do five a month and send? cheers. Jypsi
That's fantastic! Yeah, I find it difficult with knowing when to stop. As they say 'carry the world on your shoulders too often and you'll get a crick in the neck'. Okay, I made that up just now, but I sometimes feel very guilty. I think more people that are doing okay need to get a bit of perspective. If everyone helps a little, the burden is less. But as long as a few people are giving, a few people can benefit. Thanks again Denise, and feel free to join in discussions on the 'Downunder' page - useful for hints and getting queries answered. - Jypsi.
