Hi Holly - nice to hear that you are also a cat fan! I think the pictures of Sandy shows him as being quite compact but, in fact, he is rather a long and tall cat. When he is at his weightiest, in winter, he weighs around 5.7 kilos, a nice solid cat. Unfortunately, during fine weather, he spends a lot of time hunting and often eats whatever his catches and sometimes the junk he eats upsets his system, which in turn reduces him to bringing back a lot of what he has eaten, including his own food, hence a little loss of weight. He will learn one day, I hope! Angela x
Hi Holly - just saying hello and hope you are keeping well. Wondered what amazing project you might be working on since the stunning blanket you posted on KAS a few weeks ago. Angela x
Hi Holly, your blanket has really initiated a list of comments, as it should it is really very special. Just 'officially' welcoming everyone to the KAS community, although you are well and truly welcomed already! Great to have you on board. Hope you will keep posting you very talented work. Sandy
Not very good at understanding this site yet so didn't see your lovely blanket until after I had sent you the last message. It's amazing! I'm involved with a group of knitters (Parham Rendezvous) but am not much of a knitter myself - it's taken me 6 weeks to do three squares!
That's a really lovely painting Holly. The grocery bag creation is very impressive - were you trying to be something in particular or were you showing early abstract artistic talent? (I was thinking about bees at the time as I had just extracted some lovely honey from my girls' hives.)
