Hi Ingrid, I think your English is very good considering it's not your first language! I understand quite a bit of Afrikaans which isn't that far off Dutch so I'd probably be able to pick up a few words here and there but definitely not do nearly as well as you do with English.
1500 SQUARES!!! That is such an amazing effort, congratulations and thank you so much. Well done on being published in the local newspaper too, what fun. Can't wait to see all of your squares Ingrid, that's a record for knit-a-square!
Hello Ingrid - I have just seen your message and am heartened that everyone who comes across Knit-a-Square is so enthusiastic about knitting squares to help the ophaned children of South Africa. 800 squares is just brilliant!
