Welcome to KAS, Jill from up in Canada above MN. I was away on holidays in MN and SD so I'm a tad late in saying hello. It was so warm down there, hot even and I got back here to near freezing temps. I was not amused...I gave serious consideration to moving south let me tell you. I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above and if you click on Photos above, you will see items that are heading to Africa, in all colors and shapes, plus those that have arrived there. If you click on Groups, above, you can join the lively and friendly USA group or any group you wish, to chat with. I'm a crocheter too, my mum was the whiz at knitting. We can use both skills here plus loom knitting plus felting, even sewing using fleece. It all keeps the children warm. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
Welcome, Jill. Check out the website, join some groups, look at the photos. You'll find us a friendly bunch of knitters and crocheters from around the world. The US Group has just sponsored a creche, our third! So happy you joined us!
