Hi Kat and welcome to KAS. Jeanne is a wiz at the forum etc. The site is a bit overwhelming at first however everyone is so helpful and friendly don't be afraid to ask.
Because my tension is rubbish for squares I tend to stick to jumpers and matching hats. Currently I'm taking crochet lessons which I'm thoroughly enjoying, it's just so much quicker than knitting. Which do you prefer?
Welcome to KAS, Kat from across the Pond in Canada. :) I know you've already got flowers blooming over there, just don't tell me about it, we've still got a meter of snow here. I'm a crocheter not a knitter, though Mum taught me how to knit. We all seem to get along just fine here. I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :) Our UK group is very busy with fundraising days to help them with postage and they're very chatty and friendly so do check them out by clicking "Groups" in the header above. So....Welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
