We run a challenge each month. For the next three months it is all about squares. We have a grand total of 55,900 squares we are trying to achieve and would love you to participate.
Don't forget to post photographs of your work. We have an awesome gallery of the work of the KAS community which is really inspiring.
Some of our members further support KAS by making a small monthly donation through Paypal (top left hand corner). This is invaluable help as it ensures we can continue to ensure that your work is speedily distributed to the most needy children in South Africa. We are deeply grateful for any donation we receive, be it monetary or squares to help the orphans. Thank you.

Leslie, The barcode system is coming but not ready yet.
Glad you have a box of squares ready to go! You have 2 options now. You can mail the box to Planet Purl in Florida and they will mail all squares received to South Africa UNTIL August 31st. This saves you quite a bit of money for postage. The other option is to send directly to South Africa. In either case, put the squares in zip-lock bags to protect them from moisture. Separate any that are pure wool and write "Wool squares" on that bag. Any squares that are mixed wool and/or acrylic can go together is a bag. Enclose your name , address, number of squares, and number of any other "drop ins" in each bag. Be sure to write "For Charity Only" and "No Commercial Value" on the box in bold letters. See the instructions for mailing on the main KAS page. Hope this helps!
