Margaret I am sure whatever you knit up will be more than welcomed, the need is so great that even my sometimes wavy-navy squares or over-sized sweaters are used, and that's saying something. Interesting that you live in the Sunshine State...first it was wildfires and then floods. Jeepers. Where I live we're one of the ones that get the most sun in Canada so it's a great spot for solar energy...our town is striving to get funding and permission for a Solar Energy Park but provincial red tape apparently designed to stop municipalities and let big business in has held it up for years. Meanwhile I guess I could slap some solar panels on our roof...hydro rates have really gone up!
Welcome to KAS, Margaret from around the world in Canada. We're still struggling through Spring, no leaves on the trees yet and snow still melting but the robins are back so there's hope! I enjoy doing the hats and squares most too, if I can just keep my edges straight.
I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above.
