  Dear Mehreen,

  Ronda has expressed the need for a newer vehicle to transport squares and blankets. Helen Flagg has proposed to the US Group that we raise funds to help KAS purchase a car.   Also, The Humble Stitch Project has offered to ship all squares, hats, sweaters, cuddles, toys, etc. received in Florida by Dec 15^th to South Africa for us for free.  Check out their offer and the address on the Forum in the US Group.

  Welcome to Kas, Mehreen.  I love your name, it is so beautiful!  I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too.  Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above.  To reach the Discussion Boards my route is click on "Patterns" in the header above, then click "Squares" in the bit that pops down, then on that page click on "All Discussions" above the page title, top left side, in light blue italics.   Welcome, Mehreen! We are so glad you joined KAS. I am a special ed teacher now doing private tutoring in Philadelphia. I have been knitting for KAS for 2 years and I love it. I've even helped some of my students in grades 3 and 4 learn to knit squares. Hope you'll enjoy meeting new friends from around the world as you check out the KAS website. Any questions?
