Ronda has expressed the need for a newer vehicle to transport squares and blankets. Helen Flagg has proposed to the US Group that we raise funds to help KAS purchase a car. The idea has gone global and there is an initiative on the forum about it. Check the latest ezine video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VK9mbUrGWI&feature=youtu.be
Also, The Humble Stitch Project has offered to ship all squares received in Florida by Dec 15th to South Africa for us for free. Check out their offer and the address on the Forum in the US Group.
Wow, love your page and your pictures. Great that you have so much involvement in SA already. Actually I was really excited to see the word naartjie again. Have become so Australianised that we only speak of mandarins! Great word, should introduce it back into our lives courtesy of you. Our whole family is going to South Africa next year and we will also be close to PE for a massive family reunion. Perhaps we can visit this game farm. I went to university in Cape Town so I envy your step son living in that beautiful city!
Anyway I hope you enjoy the forum and your region's group which you can find under groups in the main menu.
Please join our July Challenge - keep a newborn warm, making blankets for abandoned babies. And also our July competition to win the beautiful book, The Essential Guide to Color Knitting Techniques. You can find the details in the main forum.
