Welcome to the forum Nancy - it's lovely to have you with us. Lacock - is that Wiltshire? (I should have googled first, shouldn't I.)
Do you knit or crochet or both? When you've had a chance to look around the site, the photos are my favourite bit, you'd be very welcome to join the UK group for more local chat and news but you can join any groups that you fancy. Any queries just ask - there's always someone happy to help.
Welcome to KAS, Nancy, from across the Pond in the middle of Canada. I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above and if you click on Photos above, you will see items that are heading to Africa, in all colors and shapes, plus those that have arrived there. If you click on Groups, above, you can join the cheery UK group or any groups you wish, to chat with. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
And now we’re helping out over in Zimbabwe too and they need everything over there. I just love making a real difference in a child’s life. So welcome aboard!
Hi Nancy...and welcome to our global knitting/crocheting family.
This is a wonderfully warm and supportive 'family' with everyone crafting their way towards the common goal of keeping the vulnerable children of South Africa warm.
Please check out the 'forum' tab at the top of this page for some lively discussions and helpful tips/ideas.
Also to be truly inspired visit our photo section by clicking the 'photos' tab at the top of the page. There are some very crafty, creative ladies.
But most of all please enjoy familiarizing yourself with this site and meeting lots of lovely ladies and gents.
Any questions big or small there is sure to be someone who can answer them. Welcome!
