Hi Sharon, A warm welcome from the Netherlands. My name is Anneke and I am responsible for making the monthly squares list. On this list you can see when your parcels arrive at the KAS Barn. Also I have created a Discussion page "Squares List" with clear instructions about how to prepare your squares, hats, handwarmers and toys and instructions about how to send your parcels to South-Africa.
Hi Sharon. A very warm welcome to you from the East Coast of Canada!
My name is Gloria and I’m one of several Moderators on our Square Circle Forum. My job is to put together our monthly newsletter - KAS Snippets. Each month I pull together photos and information from the forum and our members, along with requests from our team in South Africa - sort of a KAS-at-a-glance, so to speak. You should receive notification near the end of each a month with a link to the current edition. I hope you will enjoy catching up on all the KAS news!
One of the many great things about Knit-a-Square is the photos our volunteers in South Africa take and share with us - photos of our squares on the sorting tables - photos of our squares in blankets - and best of all, photos of our squares in blankets wrapped around the beautiful children! We actually get to see our work in action!
You will be welcomed into any of our discussions so come on in and put your feet up, grab your yarn and hook/needles and enjoy. You are among friends.
