Hi Sharon. A very warm welcome to you. You wouldn't happen to be the Sharon Harris from the Cobequid Educational Centre in Truro, would you? If so, we've "met" before and it's nice to see you here :)) If not, it's nice to see you here anyway ... haha
I'm Gloria and I'm in Dartmouth and/or River John - depending on the time of year :) I am one of several Moderators on our Square Circle Forum. My job is to put together our monthly newsletter - KAS Snippets. Each month I pull together photos and information from the forum and our members, along with requests from our team in South Africa - sort of a KAS-at-a-glance, so to speak. You should receive notification near the end of each a month with a link to the current edition. I hope you will enjoy catching up on all the KAS news!
One of the many great things about Knit-a-Square is the photos our volunteers in South Africa take and share with us - photos of our squares on the sorting tables - photos of our squares in blankets - and best of all, photos of our squares in blankets wrapped around the beautiful children! We actually get to see our work in action!
You will be welcomed into any of our discussions so come on in and put your feet up, grab your yarn and hook/needles and enjoy. You are among friends.
