Hi Susan. please consider joining the Scottish group on the forum. It would be good to have a bit of local chat, sharing of knowledge and a feeling of community. I was on the forum for a while before I realised that anyone else from Scotland was here.

Hi Susan, lovely to hear from you and nice to know where your pictue was taken, the scenery certainly is beautiful. I'm sure you are going to be kept very busy, especially as your daughter has put an 'order' in for a throw!! It will look very striking when finished. Sounds like a good plan to teach your daughter to knit and it is great that she is keen. You must have inspired her! Perhaps she will get all her uni pals to knit also!
I have only been knitting for KAS since the end of February, although I first came across the site late last year. I, too, felt it was a very worthwhile cause. I find everyone so enthusiastic and inspiration just bounces around the forum.
Bye for now. Angela xx
Hi Susan, good to hear from you. Well done with the squares!! It can be quite addictive! The times I hear myself saying, before going off to bed, for example, 'just one more row'! Two inches later, I finally put it away. I am also doing a winter-weight jumper for my small grandson, so there is the battle of projects going on too!! But, yes, it is a great cause and people are being so supportive.
Love the scenery in your profile photo, where is that?
