Sylvia,
Thanks so much for starting the KAS Fundraising thread! I am from Pennsylvania in the USA and we have a town near where I live called Gwynedd! Now I know that they settlers must have come from Wales! We also have Bryn Athyn and other Welsh-named towns in this area as well as many, many English towns. I live in Cheltenham Township and our sister city is Cheltenham, England. So many connections!
Hi Sylvia - apologies for taking so long in getting back to you. Thank you for your kind comments and also for advocating as you are for KAS. it is truly wonderful knowing we have people like you working on behalf of the children, thank you Sandy
Hi Sylvia and welcome to our friendly KAS community.
Not only are you our first member from Wales, but you are our 450th member, so double welcome!
I hope you will enjoy the forum and join the UK group which you can find under Groups in the menu.
We are still continuing our July Challenge - keep a newborn warm, making blankets for abandoned babies, and there have been some great results for the August in Africa challenge - you can see photographs under the photos menu. (Details of both challenges in the main forum).
