We have a challenge every month, if you want to get involved please do. It's not compulsory at all but some of the work done is just lovely. Have a look at the November challenge - the SLIP-OVER (under challenges in the main forum) this will give you an idea of some of the fantastic work this community is doing for the children of South Africa. Tammy, Welcome to KAS!! This group is so informative and you will get to know so many people and look at their wonderful knitting projects for this wonderful cause. I am not very experienced knitter but it's all about keeping the children in Africa warm so I don't need to be a novice at it!
I joined this group in March of this year and enjoy the forum very much! Where are you from? I am from Virginia where we got almost 2 feet of snow so I did get some red plain jane squares for the challenge for December. Glad you're a part of this wonderful group!!

I became a member in November and I find it very addictive. What are u knitting at the moment? I'm just started my 3rd blanket, I am doing more boys colours this time in blues and reds.
