Welcome to KAS, Yolande from over in Canada. Way to go on knitting socks, I've never tried that one. My Mum could knit up a storm, I've still got vests she made me and my brother's daughter has a sweater my Mum made for our Dad back in the 1960's which my brother then inherited and now my niece has it. It just needed the occasional new waist and cuff ribbing. It taught me that knitting can last a long while, even become a "family member". :) Personally I crochet more than I knit, now. Just easier for me.
I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
