Hi Karen, Please go to the U.S. forum group for current information about a fund drive to provide Ronda a newer vehicle to take blankets and hats to creches and squares to stitchers. Donations of any amount are welcome.
Good news. A group from Fl Humble Stitch project will send our squares to S.A. if they are received by Dec. 15th. Check the U.S. Forum group for mailing address. Thanks from a fellow Ohioian. I live in Vanlue about 12 miles east of Findlay. Jan Wilcox
Hi, I just noticed you live in Wooster. I am in Mansfield. Do you know of others in our area who like to crochet? I would love to get together with ladies and spend an evening crocheting together. I love your squares. Such pretty colors. Have you made any cuddles? I have made a few but they take so long so I am back to squares now.
We run a challenge each month. For the next three months it is all about squares. We have a grand total of 55,900 squares we are trying to achieve and would love you to participate.
Don't forget to post photographs of your work. We have an awesome gallery of the work of the KAS community which is really inspiring.
Some of our members further support KAS by making a small monthly donation through Paypal (top left hand corner). This is invaluable help as it ensures we can continue to ensure that your work is speedily distributed to the most needy children in South Africa. We are deeply grateful for any donation we receive, be it monetary or squares to help the orphans. Thank you.
