Hi Maria, welcome to KAS. I only joined in November have knitted for years but only just learnt to crochet and enjoy both but still find knitting easier becuase it's what I know. Enjoy knitting for those lovely children.
One of the nice things about KAS is that while we are brushing up on our skills we can also make squares to keep the children warm. I crochet and enjoy trying new patterns.

After you have a look around you might like to join the US group. The group is talking about adopting another creche....last year the group adopted 3 !
Welcome, Maria. I, too, love knitting and have been sending squares to KAS for several years. I love to see the photos of the children receiving blankets and hats and toys from people around the world. We are one people, after all. So glad you joined us!
