We run a challenge each month. For the next three months it is all about squares. We have a grand total of 55,900 squares we are trying to achieve and would love you to participate.
Don't forget to post photographs of your work. We have an awesome gallery of the work of the KAS community which is really inspiring.
Some of our members further support KAS by making a small monthly donation through Paypal (top left hand corner). This is invaluable help as it ensures we can continue to ensure that your work is speedily distributed to the most needy children in South Africa. We are deeply grateful for any donation we receive, be it monetary or squares to help the orphans. Thank you.

Hello Rachel
Nice to hear from you. A bit of your Hello from Yorkshire discussion seems to have been missed off if you would like to revise it.
If you want to join the UK Group (which would probably make you the 100th member) click a Forum tab on any page where you can see it, then on the bar at the top you will see Groups. Click that and scroll down until you find UK. Clicking there will open that page and you will see a prompt that says something like 'Join Group'. Click that and you're in.
I'm better at knitting than crochet, Jeni is our speed crocheter and has set herself a target of 1000 squares for 2010!
Welcome to the forum Rachel. Lovely to have another UK member. There is a huge demand for squares from our sewing groups in South Africa so you have joined at just the right moment.

Hello Rachel, Welcome to the forum which I trust you will find friendly, informative and supportive. It's a big site now but when you've had a chance to look around if you would like to join the UK group you would be very welcome, and if you have any queries someone will always be pleased to help you. Do you knit or crochet or both?
