  Greetings Angela!  If you go to the Main Page, listed in the header above, you'll find links to the New Member Guide and lots of links to get around the site.  We're working on simplifying it, we really are. :)  Glad to have you with us.  I find this such a positive site, it truly inspires me to crochet more and I've gotten better at it.  Using Mary Lokken's Chain Stitch square pattern I have actually done Granny Squares that are square, and for me that's quite something. :D  Hope to see you around the boards, thanks so much for helping the orphans, it goes straight from our hands and hearts to their little bodies and their hearts. :)

  I live in Suffolk but I'm hoping to move to the Newcastle area soon to be nearer to my son and daughter-in-law. Last time I visited them I took a train to Carlisle which I loved. Be up there again next week so I'm hoping it doesn't get colder.

  Are you a knitter or do you crochet (or both)?

  Hi Angela and welcome to KAS.  Everyone is so friendly and willing to help you out with any knitting/crocheting problems. It's so good to know we are all working to together to help these darling children.

  I haven't been to Carlisle in years.  It was so easy to get to from North Tyneside where I was born.  Have you fully recovered from the heavy snow?
