Greetings Ann from across the Pond in Canada! Hope you enjoy being part of Knit A Square. I love being able to seriously make a difference, one on one, my hands to their little bodies. (it also saves my family from another crocheted hat, scarf, mitts or pair of slippers, but that's another topic!) Do check out the Main Page where you will find the New Member Guide link. Click on it and you'll find among other things, my convoluted way to get to the Discussion Boards. There's probably an easier way but hey, it works for me. Thanks so much for being willing to make a difference for a child that has nothing. Giving them hope, love and the knowledge they are cared about from far away is so precious, I feel I gain more than I give.
Hi Ann, Welcome to the KAS forum and I hope you enjoy being part of this friendly & lively community. Do you knit or crochet or both? Around the world caring people are all taking direct action and team-working with the Ladies of the Soweto Comfort Club - it is making a difference to many parentless children. When you've had a chance to look around the site you would be very welcome to join the UK group for more local news and chat.
Glad your web search directed to you our team!
You can also personalize your own page by clicking on the My Page tab on the menu. Also you can access Settings on this page and set your privacy terms.
I've not had a chance to read your discussions posts today, but I'll come back tomorrow.

Hi Ann and welcome to KAS. Great to have you with us. Once you find your way round the site it's just like being part of a very large loving family.
Everyone is so helpful and willing to share ideas and patterns. Enjoy and what a wonderful number of squares to start with.
Happy Knitting, Barbara
