Welcome to KAS, Donna from up in Canada just above MN. I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
Welcome Donna! So glad you joined us. Oklahoma is a bit far from Pennsylvania where I live but I have driven through your beautiful state. And I always sing the Rogers and Hammerstein song,"Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain...." Glad you share our goal of keeping the children warm!
What an interestingly-named town you live in! What is it like? I think one of the most fascinating things about the Square Circle Forum is that we come from so many different places. I like the idea of all those uniformly sized squares being knitted in such very non-uniform surroundings -- Australia, South Africa, England, France, Canada, Malta, etc., and every part of the U.S.! There are 30- or 40-some countries represented in our membership, I believe. (The number 44 sticks in my mind for some reason...)
That said, welcome again -- oh, and don't miss out on joining the U.S. discussion group. A fun, energetic and supportive crowd! Also, if you have the time to produce squares at a fast clip, do join the "A Square a Day" group -- very nice, dedicated people there, as well!
