Hi Donna, welcome and thank you for the offer of hand puppets. They would be wonderful for the children. The children have very little in the way of imaginative toys or anything else for that matter. Have you looked at the e-zines? They show how the blankets and hats are keeping the children warm. It's hard to believe but winter is now approaching in South Africa and temps can dip down to 32F.
Unfortunately, this is a very small charity, which means each of us must find the money to send the squares to South Africa. Some of us approach our churches, others hold raffles or ask friends to help. You might like to read how the charity started.
