      Hi Eileen

Thanks for your comment. There seem to be several different ways of communicating on KAS so I'm sorry it's taken me a while to reply. I have posted on the UK group with suggested dates. Would be very pleased to hear from you.

      Linda :)

      I Eileen

If you want to drop the stuff off at the shop, I usually work all day Monday, all day Tuesday and Wednesday morning 9 - 1.  Steve my boss has agreed to let me have stuff dropped off as it is only for a short period of time. So if you are coming up and we can't meet that will also be fine.  The shop is open 9 - 5.30 Mon to Fri and 9 - 4 Sat. I won't be back in till Monday next week now and have got Weds off and will also be away at the weekend. I could always pop over to the shop on my days off if I know you are coming, appointments etc. permitting.

      Hi Eileen

Having just joined the UK Group I am finding my way round the site, but I am not really that computer friendly.  If your message regarding spare capacity was for me and you want to send with me, please post your items to my work address as follows:

Mrs Ute Sadler, Right Angle Picture Framing, 20 High Street, CORSHAM, Wiltshire, SN13 0ES.  I would be glad if you could let me know when you have posted.  Many thanks. Ute

Hi Eileen, I'm so glad you were able to post the video.  The forum is quite large and difficult to navigate at first so I'm happy to have directed you to the right spot.  the video definitely needs to be seen by as many as possible.

Hi Eileen, just watched your video.  It expresses what KAS is all about.  It will inspire more new knitters and crocheters to send squares to warm more children.  Thank you !!

Would you add the link to the Spread the Word 2013 discussions where more people will see it as your status comment will be quickly lost in the comments section.

      Thanks

      Linda

Hi Eileen, just a reminder to put "No Commercial Value" and " For Charity" on any parcel going to South Africa.  Without this, there might be duty charged.  Since we are such a small operation there isn't any extra money.

As well, the soft toys need to be "tucked" in and not declared.  We call the extras, e.g. not squares, "slip-ins".

Hi Eileen, those colours will be wonderful for a cuddle.  Imagine wool being cheaper in Norway.....and warmer.  Must be the colder climate :-)

I've combined sock wool with a bright acrylic to make a bolder square.

Have you figured out how to make the Fan square ?

It is the shell pattern. I changed colours every shell.  Made for a lot of ends to be tucked in but it was fun.

Hi Eileen, so good to meeting you! thank you for your compliments. the puzzle is shown in one of my former pictures named : "oops, puzzle slips in the pocket". I don't know how to translate it, in Dutch, literally translated, we call it a "shuffle puzzle". :) When I was young we were busy for hours to get the image done. (first shuffle and then re-arrange!!!). I hope the kids will like it. Warm regards, Anneke
