Hi, Elizabeth! I live in Radnor, and am looking into starting a Philly-area discussion group. I noticed one or two regional groups popping up lately. This might be a good idea to make it easier to get together for a knitting circle from time to time, talk about regional yarn bargains, etc. What do you think?
Welcome to KAS, Elizabeth from Canada above MN where I'm wearing my chunky winter sweater as I type this, temps only in the low 50's today. I was down in St. Paul MN a few days ago and it was lovely, 72F. Eventually the warmth will get here but meanwhile I feel like running outside and crocheting sweaters for the annuals I just planted in my yard, we keep getting frosts. No fair at all given winter is only months away and we're not even finished Spring yet. Good crocheting weather though, I must admit that. I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
p.s. if you have a yarn stash, you might like to click on Cafe KAS in the Discussions Forum where there's a discussion thread called Yarnaholics, for people like us. ;)
