Welcome to KAS, Grace from all the way over in the middle of Canada! I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above and if you click on Photos above, you will see items that are heading to Africa, in all colors and shapes, plus those that have arrived there. If you click on Groups, above, you can join any chat groups you wish, to chat with. I agree, we do have fun, particularly on the message boards, like the Yarnaholics one. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
Hey, Grace! Welcome to Square Circle Forum from a Philadelphia resident who lives literally across the world from you! Two years ago I had the great pleasure of visiting Singapore with two of my sons, and I will never forget the beauty, the bustling energy, and the fun! Our hotel overlooked the wonderfully winding river, and my greatest pleasure was taking one of those little riverboats to the harbor and back as often as possible. And the teas! My favorite was at the Fullerton Hotel. I would love to be able to go back and repeat the experience some day!
But I digress! ;-D Again, welcome to Square Circle, which has helped and encouraged me in my own, relatively new, yarnwork journey. The people here are so positive and helpful; I know that you'll enjoy it.
