Welcome to KAS, Jacqueline from up in Canada above MN. I was just down in MN and SD on holidays and had a blast as usual. We're only 2 hours from the border where I live. Right now it's so danged chilly I've got the house heat on and a buttoned up sweater on...brrrrr. And we're due to get wet snow on Sunday...yeesh. Definitely it's "stay inside and crochet" weather. My mum was a whiz at knitting but I'm a bit of a plodder so I crochet instead.
