Love the granny squares blanket. And mind you, 'cause I haven't had breakfast yet, that fish looks good!
I haven't used this Square Circle Forum as much as I'd intended. I seem to just use ravelry.com (I'm OzziePlainJane) . But at the moment I'm making up a batch of things for 9 Lives Cat Rescue (I'm a foster carer for kittens) for their next fundraising stall. So am about to start on some more fingerless gloves for them tonight when I can get the pointy sticks out.
Hi Jane, here's a direct link to the wheel spoke pattern. There seems to be a problem with the one under the photo so I will change it. Thanks for noticing it.
Welcome to KAS, Jane from over in Canada. I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above and if you click on Photos above, you will see items that are heading to Africa, in all colors and shapes, plus those that have arrived there. If you click on Groups, above, you can join the Aussie group or any groups you wish, to chat with. Any questions just PM me. :) So, welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win. And now we’re helping out over in Zimbabwe too and they need everything over there. I just love making a real difference in a child’s life. So welcome aboard!

Looking forward to more blanket photos. The blue one is a definite inspiration. I have lots of small balls of blues in assorted colours which would work perfectly for squares.
Welcome Jane...great to see a fellow West Aussie in the forum. I hope you and your friends enjoy knitting and crocheting for KAS as much as we all do....and knowing its for such a great cause makes it all the more rewarding. Please checkout, if you wish, the many lively discussions and the wonderfully inspirational photos to be found by clicking on the 'forum' and 'photo' tabs to be found at the top of the page. It is a fun pattern and I enjoy mixing and matching colours....good use for odds and ends.
Let me know if you have any questions about the pattern.
