Hi Jane and welcome to KAS. What a beautiful part of England you live in. We try to climb the Tor at least once a year. This site has lots of info and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I mainly knit jumpers as my tension is rubbish for squares.
Welcome to KAS, Jane from across the Pond in Canada. I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :) Welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
Hi Jane! Welcome on board! I knit and crochet (but mostly knit) and live in chilly, grey Hertfordshire (well, at the moment) where the knitting keeps me cheery.... Kate
Hello Jane, welcome to the forum and the UK group. I hope you enjoy being a part of this committed and supportive group of crafters working for such a worthwhile cause. The site has become big and unwieldy and takes a while to get used to but if you have any queries just ask and someone will always be happy to help.
To add interest and motivate us we have challenges and the current one is to fill virtual buses with children all of whom have been given a blanket and a hat. We've just filled the second bus so we're on the third now but we don't know the name yet.

Do you knit or crochet or both?
