      Dear Kathy,

Ronda has expressed the need for a newer vehicle to transport squares and blankets. Helen Flagg has proposed to the US Group that we raise funds to help KAS purchase a car. The idea has gone global and there is an initiative on the forum about it. Check the latest ezine video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VK9mbUrGWI&feature=youtu.be

Also, The Humble Stitch Project has offered to ship all squares received in Florida by Dec 15th to South Africa for us for free.  Check out their offer and the address on the Forum in the US Group.

      Hope to see you there!

Please go to the U.S. Forum page on the KAS website and read about  a new fund-raising drive to raise funds for a newer vehicle for Ronda. She is in great need of a more reliable car to take the blankets and hats to the creches and the squares to the stitchers. A donation of any amount is valuable. Thanks

are mittens hard to make. Sounds like you are a good knitter. Squares are very relaxing for me and have a quick end and beginning so to say it takes me about 2 hours to knit a square.

so glad you wrote back boy you have been busy with all your endeavors I honor all the time you give giving back. I figure I am one of those blessed ones so when I heard about kas it was perfect. Especially since I stay at home and am a bit of an isolator. I love knitting esp. charity knitting. It relaxes me which really helps my bi-polar.
