Hi Kristi, sorry you're having problems with the pattern.  I've sent you a PM via gmail with the pattern attached.

Let me know how it works.

Kristi, here is a link to a great solid granny Square pattern I use most of the time. It is called The Never Ending Blanket Square. It is on this site.  debscrafts55.blogspot.com  I hope this helps.

      Hi Kristi

I have sent Linda a message for you.....and as Jan has just said, as long as the pattern you use doesn't have too many gaps in it you are welcome to use any pattern you like.  :))

I see that Linda has left you a welcome comment on your page, so if you click on her name (in blue) that will take you to her page if you wanted to send her a message.

Hi Kristi, Wlcome to KAS.  I tried the Granny Square  pattern in the KAS pattern  area and it came up pretty quickly for me. I do not know why it won't come up for you.  You can use any square pattern as long as it is 8 inches.

Be sure to join the US group if you haven't already.  I am from Ohio.  Jan Wilcox

      Hi Kristi

I have checked out the granny square page and it has come up on the screen for me, albeit a little slowly...my laptop obviously doesn't like early mornings...lol.

Please click on the following and see if this works for you: Granny Square . If it still won't happen, maybe message Linda Maltby....it maybe her pattern and she could send you a copy direct. :))

Welcome, Kristi, from suburban Philadelphia. Glad you've joined us.

Hello Kristi, so glad you have joined us. Keeping the children in South Africa warm has brought together a world-wide group of caring knitters and crocheters.

If you haven’t already, please read through the welcome message on the forum main page for helpful hints and things that might interest you. The FAQ category should answer any general questions you may have. If not, please ask. http://forum.knit-a-square.com

Wondering what is needed besides squares ? Here is a link to Ronda’s wish list for 2013 :  http://forum.knit-a-square.com/forum/topics/kas-wish-list-guideline...

Looking for patterns?  Check the KAS Pattern Book for garments for the children.  We are focusing on children aged 3-9.

You might like the Monthly challenge.  This is a fun way to try new ideas or patterns.  Every month, a theme is chosen, and if you wish, you may create something new and different.

February’s challenge is Transportation. Have a look at the discussion for ideas on what you can make.  If you would prefer to work with Plain Janes then read what colours work for transportation.  Since it takes 35 squares to make one blanket, squares, especially Plain Janes are needed all the time.

If you are interested in joining any of our challenges, please note: Your parcel does not need to arrive in South Africa before the end of the month.  Those of us who use sea-mail find parcels take between 8-10 weeks to arrive. Whenever your parcel arrives, know it will be appreciated and that you are keeping children warm.

We would love to see photos of your work.

      Enjoy !
