I just joined, live in Oakland and was curious to see whether there were any other East Bay members. I see there a few; you, me, one in Alameda and 4 in Berkeley. Has anyone put together a monthly sit-n-stitch? Would you be interested?
Hi Linda, welcome to the KAS community. Hope you enjoy the forum and your region's group which you can find under groups in the main menu.
We would love you to join our July Challenge - keep a newborn warm, making blankets for abandoned babies. And also our July competition to win the beautiful book, The Essential Guide to Color Knitting Techniques. You can find the details in the main forum.
Hi Linda, I just had to say hello and welcome you to the KAS family. I was intrigued by your address - Walnut Creek. I am almost certain that I have heard my daughter-in-law, who lives in England, say that her brother lives in Walnut Creek. Could there be other Walnut Creeks? I will have to check this out! I hope you enjoy being part of this enthusiastic and inspirting community and I'm sure you will enjoy finding your way round the forum and forging new friendships. Take care. Angela xx
