On the needles, it would be just the standard yarn needle for sewing the squares together. You can find them at any craft store or at Walmart, I think they are in the sewing isle though, rather then the yarn isle. I thought I might check out Ebay, as someone suggested you can get a good deal there.
But if finances are really tight for you, why not focus on the squares and maybe a little for shipping to myself or Laurie......don't feel you have to do everything ;o)! It's so hard, i know, to keep it all in perspective. I want to reach through the computer and hug every one of those children and wish I could keep them all warm and fed. If I ever win the lottery, LOL!!
