Ronda has expressed the need for a newer vehicle to transport squares and blankets. Helen Flagg has proposed to the US Group that we raise funds to help KAS purchase a car. The idea has gone global and there is an initiative on the forum about it. Check the latest ezine video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VK9mbUrGWI&feature=youtu.be
Also, The Humble Stitch Project has offered to ship all squares received in Florida by Dec 15th to South Africa for us for free. Check out their offer and the address on the Forum in the US Group.
H Penny,
Wanted to let you know I didn't forget about the patterns.
Had to make a run to emerg.vet. so haven't really been thinking straight.
I have the backpack pattern and will send it to you as soon as I can figure out how to send you a message. I dont want to post it in the main forum as I cant ask in reference to patent. The other pattern is still MIA as soon as I find it , I'll send it. I know the maker was "green pepper" out of Oregon. Just wanted you to know... I equested you as a friend - I think that is how I can send you a message... LOL right on top of things here

Hi Penny! Love the hats. I have not yet tried the loom but I am looking forward to purchasing a set of looms as so many of the group like to make hats on these. How is that grand baby doing? They grow up way too fast! Have a wonderful day! Best Regards, Janet
Penny I love your knitting loom hats. I have a couple of looms so I must try this as regular knitting hurts my shoulders (childhood injuries). Your hats turned out SO lovely! Do they seem stretched on the loom but shrink down to normal hat size once you take them off? Do you have a simple hat pattern you could share? I just mean is the hat done all in the round? In that case, about how many rows? I am presuming I'd just gather the top end of a tube? (and put a pom on it maybe?)
I am just getting around to finding you all to welcome you to the KAS community. Hope you enjoy this forum your regions' group. Thanks for your contributions already.
