  Ronda has expressed the need for a newer vehicle to transport squares and blankets. Helen Flagg has proposed to the US Group that we raise funds to help KAS purchase a car.   Rhonda.........please tell your Ravelry friends absolutely to use acrylic or
  acrylic-wool blend! Recommend chunky yarn all the way to increase the
  thickness and add warmth. Two strands chunky acrylic or acrylic-wool
  will make a nice, warm, thick Cuddle. Go for it! (Sorry to take so long in
  replying..........I've been out of town!)

  Dear Rhonda - thank you for the birthday greetings ! The celebrations started this evening with a supper party hosted by a friend who was also celebrating her 49th anniversary. My birthday actually falls on the 7th S, so tomorrow we will have a coffee and natter morning.
  Thanks too, for well wishes after Derek's most recent fall. Not too much damage done, fortunately. He must have the most efficient guardian angel in the business taking care of him as he tends to fall A LOT. He has had Parkinson's Disease for 17 years but it has begun to impact quite seriously on his speech and mobility in the last couple of years. He never complains about anything and has retained an amazing sense of humour - typical Brit.
