"Here it is - September 2024 - I just saw this posting by wonderful Anne Powell. I am in tears. And smiles. You don't know how much this means to me.
KAS - a place where helping can come full circle.
Twice blessed."
"Chris it was totally our pleasure to drive down and spend some time with you. I feel the short notice of 36-40 hours meant we didn't overplan or get uptight at all about what we would actually do. Just meeting and being together felt enough as…"
"A great report, Chris, about two of our favourite people. You were lucky the visit coincided with about the only decent weekend we've had so far this summer!"
"It was such a treat to revivist the KAS Sisters Get Together column. I enjoyed reading the old and new stories of friends meeting in the past. What a wonderful surprise for you Chris to meet up with our Karen. We knew she was planning a holiday but…"
"I had a lovely surprise last week, Karen Gordon messaged me, asking if she and her husband Stuart could visit. Karen and I are in touch frequently, so I was surprised I hadn’t heard about them visiting Wales. What I hadn’t realised was that it was a…"
Anne, I'm having a problem making a one-time donation to the Peace of Mind campaign. When I select the Donate box it does give me the form. However, when I click in the amount box and start typing, it immediately puts a comma in the field. I'm trying to donate $100. However, I don't know how to type it in the box. I don't want to make a mistake and have it show up as $10,000 on my credit card. I've had this problem in the past and that's why I've just purchase multiple quantities in the KAS Shop for larger donations. I hope this makes sense. :)
I Hope this finds you doing well and enjoying those long days fill with lots of sun. I was wondering if you would consider being featured in Meet the KAS Family? It can be you and/or your church group. If you are interested, please just shoot me an email and I will send you some general questions to answer.
I currently have questions out to three other groups, but am not having much luck in getting information back. Time to move forward with other people and groups.
I am in and out of internet contact the next couple of days while traveling, but will be checking my email nightly.
Hello Anne, thanks for your message (I wasn't able to send a reply!) re posting photos into discussions - I am using an iPad, so as you say, the usual method won't work for me. At some point I will get to my computer and add my squares to the relevant challenge, so thanks for doing it thus far!
Hi Anne dear. The Pinterst site is stunning, stunning, stunning but I am wondering if you can keep more KAS photos in that top row. e.g. that gorgeous shot of the two children wrapped in love with the words on top '1.9 million etc'. If that could stay at the top it wold be good. You are getting visits to the www site to it is working really well. It is full of stunning photos. Great job. It looks as though anyone can put a photo there I will have a go.
Thanks Anne, Have to say it felt strange knitting a thick woolly jumper when the temperature here was in the late 20's but it is rewarding that a youngster will be cozy & warm in the South African winters:)
