I just read "In Memory of John" I was so moved by your words. I'm new to the site since January. I'm sad for your loss but glad that you have loved ones to support you. I am glad that you have found comfort in reaching out to comfort the children who need you at KasCare. I'm sure you are knitting love in every stitch!
Oh dear Susan. I am so sorry but I have only just caught up with your news. Preparations for the festivities meant that I did not check the forum for a while - it was a choice between knitting squares for delivery before the cut off point for free postage and looking at the computer.
I do hope that I am not opening healing wounds but I wanted to send my sympathy. I will be thinking of you and watching for your posts this year.
I am going to Bunbury tomorrow to take my middle son's V8 Commodore for a warranty service and it being where you live, got me wondering how you are. Hope that you are faring as well as you are able and hope to see you in the forum soon.xx
P.s. if you are out driving tomorrow be wary of a short woman (i.e. barely able to see over the dashboard) driving a burnt orange mean machine...lol...I will feel 21 again.
I have been thinking of you these last few days after learning of the passing of your partner, John. My sincere sympathy to you, your daughter and family.
It is good to hear that you have a support centre in Bunbury that you can turn to. They will surely help you through this....and you know that you also have us. xx
Hey Susan, welcome to KAS! Feel free to join the 'Downunder' group, for all Australia-related KAS discussions, upload photos in the Photos section, and ask me any questions if you have them :) -Jypsi
